Getting Started
I have been longing to write EST 2006 when I was 21 years old. I actually initiated a blog site back then but I ceased after the very first introduction post. And I can't even recall this schmeer. *Lol*
And just recently, a sudden passing of an old pal reminds me that we should live life with no regrets. Hence, I have decided to keep an account of the dribs and drabs of my daily activities, from parenting to motherhood, art & craft and everything!I shall make the posts useful and memorable. I am making this site an iSpace to upkeep all the good things in my life.
I am an art fancier and I love to throw party, especially a thematic ones. I enjoy the hands-on experience to DIY most of the party decorations. It motivates me and makes me proud when my guest give a "wow" to my creations.
During my firstborn's full month and 1st birthday, I secretly hoped that he is a "she" instead so that I can host a "Hello Kitty" themed party because I am huge fan of Hello Kitty (HK). I ended up browsing for HK party stuffs and ideas online leaving myself overload with HK themed party ideas that cannot be actualize. What a pity!
And two years later I conceived with the girl accidentally. And I was thrilled to be able to throw her a HK party on her first! And I did! No more regrets after that.
I hosted a vintage carousel themed mini party for my 30th birthday last year. And that's a memorable one. My GFs go wild in the party and snapshots were the only doing during the entire party. But of course they never forget to sing me a Happy Birthday song. *haha*
The blog site named after my favourite element of a party - Festoon. According to Dictionary.com, the word "Festoon" is defined as a string or chain of flowers, foliage, ribbon, etc. suspended in a curve between two points. To simplified, it means a garland or bunting. In my own view, I felt that a garland or bunting is a must-have beautification for all parties. You can't go wrong with a festoon. While to attempt a life with no regrets, I need some adorns to prettify my life.
Well better late than never, right?
